How to Use the White Sewing Machine Model 1505: A User Manual
If you are looking for a reliable and easy-to-use sewing machine, you might want to consider the White Sewing Machine Model 1505. This machine is designed for beginners and intermediate sewers who want to create various projects with different stitches and fabrics. In this user manual, you will learn how to set up, operate, and maintain your White Sewing Machine Model 1505.
Setting Up Your Machine
Before you start sewing, you need to set up your machine properly. Here are the steps to follow:
Attach the detachable extension table to the free arm of the machine. This will give you more space to work on your projects. To attach or detach the table, slide it on or off the free arm.
Connect the foot controller and the power cord to the machine. Make sure that the voltage of your machine matches the voltage of your power source. The voltage is written on a plate at the back of the machine.
Turn on the power switch on the side of the machine. The light and the sewing machine will turn on.
Set up the spool pins on top of the machine. You can use one or two spool pins depending on whether you want to use one or two threads for your sewing.
Wind the bobbin with thread. To do this, place a spool of thread on a spool pin and draw the thread through the thread guide and the pre-tension device. Then, wind the thread clockwise around an empty bobbin several times and push the bobbin onto the bobbin winding spindle. Hold the handwheel with your left hand and disengage it by unscrewing the stop motion knob. Press down on the foot controller and wind the bobbin until it stops automatically. Cut off the excess thread and re-engage the handwheel by tightening the stop motion knob.
Insert the bobbin into the bobbin case. To do this, open the shuttle cover and take out the bobbin case. Place the bobbin in its case with the thread running clockwise. Guide the thread into the slot of the bobbin case and pull it out through the tension spring. Close the latch of the bobbin case and insert it into the shuttle race. Close the shuttle cover.
Thread the upper thread. To do this, raise the needle to its highest position by turning
the handwheel towards you. Draw

the upper tension dial.
